The project includes: 1) The impact that an organizational structure has on sustainability; 2) Short-term funding sources and strategies that can meet immediate fiscal needs; and 3) Longer-term approaches to sustainability. A decision-making matrix on funding core services, a community strategies action plan worksheet, "best bets" for short-term funding, an overview of the federal funding database, and a model that describes key elements of long-term approaches to sustainability are discussed.
